I have an 1995 1.2 Pulsar and am looking into swapping the stock basic radio for a newer touch screen style one. I’m wondering if anyone has done it and if so, what is needed ? Any cable harness or adaptor needed? I’m kind of lost. I posted once before here about it, but I didn’t get quite a solid guide. I can probably find the newer faceplate online from a wreck. Also, the air conditioning panel stays the same or can I use the newer one that are on some newer versions.
I’d love to see a YouTube video or online guide. Thanks in advance
Anyone changed their old radio to a touchscreen .. any guide ?
Your original post suggested you had a 1995 car, which would be the N15 Almera (if memory serves me correctly!)
I'm quite sure somebody started on the Qashqai forums but gave up, but its been a while since I have been on there so its probably worth a search. Same with the Juke owners club as they both share similarities. There is so much integration between the Connect system and the car that you may need to change all sorts, plus there is going to be reconfiguration work due to the security lock outs.
That's not to say it cant be done, but it might not be a simple swap or as cost effective as fitting a double din type unit, or similar.
