I've rarely driven my wife's 07 plate Micra since I got the Pulsar so did notice a couple of differences when I used it earlier in the week.
Trying to start the Micra with the key in my pocket is somewhat difficult
Looking down at the radio is no help when reversing
On a slightly more serious note, the Micra pulls away better from stopped than the 1.2 Pulsar!
Technology advances or not?

Yes, but I didn't want to admit that on top of everything else.
