Re My Nissan Connect control unit ( sat nav and radio) problems

There is a software upgrade to fix this problem D605 which should be available from all Nissan dealers.

I have only just had this upgrade applied to my pulsar, so time will tell if it has been a success.

thanks for your previous replies

Did you have to pay for the upgrade to be applied? I think i need this as my unit will sometimes go silent for a minute or two when playing from USB. After 3 or 4 silences the whole unit resets.

That's a terrible indictment of the Pulsar isn't it? Going 3 years in a new car without any problems should be the norm, not something to be congratulated.
By no means at all was that an indictment of the Pulsar. You're right in saying that going 3 years in a new car without any problems should be the norm, however 3 years' worth of driving is absolutely enough to cause some minor issue or niggle at the very least.
