Hi i have just purchased my Nissan Pulsar 1.2 Acenta Turbo Automatic 2015 plate last week.
I am so happy with the car,it is smooth, quiet, quick and a joy to drive, love it.
As it is only 9 months old i have Nissan warranty until July 2018 and i have also purchased an extended warranty for a further 3 years so covered until July 2021.
The car is fantastic.

Got quotes for extended warranty for my 1.6 Tekna pulsar from Nissan.
They are as follows.
12 months 60000 miles £287.00 including VAT
24 months 100000 miles £697.00 including VAT
36 months 125000 miles £1097.00 including VAT
To get extended warranty you have to buy it before your current warranty runs out, you can only purchase one of the options because its a one time offer, so you cannot get 12 months then get another extended warranty later on.
I do about 7500 miles per year so so it would take me another 5 years to reach the 60000 miles on the 12 months extention.
Seems to be expensive to me, anyone got extended warranty either through Nissan or one of them 3rd party companies.

I know it's not a scientific answer, but I owned my previous 2 cars for 9 years and my wife's Micra is 11 years old. None of them required any major works doing in that time. I have no plans to take out an extended warranty when the main one runs out in November.
