What problems have you experienced? I have a 16 plate 1.2 and had no engine problems. 35k miles.

I have the 1.2 DIG T it is a 2017 reg with 29000 miles on it, I had it to my local mechanic for a yearly service he noticed a tapping noise and told me to take to a nissan dealership as it sounds like a timing chain issue, took it to them and they have said its the timing chain tensioner and going to cost me £1000 to repair I am in touch with nissan uk but how can this be possible for only 29000 miles on the clock has anyone had same problem and got any info I can use against them to try and get either the repair done at a cost to nissan or at least help towards it

I have heard similar comments, but agree it's ridiculous. I had a Nissan Primera with over 100k on the clock still using the original timing chain. There is a Nissan Pulsar C13 Owners Club group on Facebook which is worth joining. It was created by somebody from this group and is much more active.
