Hello,
Does anyone already change the gearbox oil on manual transmission? or it doesn't need any change, i don't see the schedule in the maintenance manual.
Thanks all

Re: New tyres
Tried Nankang long time a go on an Hyundai Tucson, not the best tyres on the wet grip and wear but it's a budget one. Probably now its quality is better. If you drive not on a sporty spirit and not a lot of km/year, i think you'd be fine.

Re: New tyres
Just don't get tyres less than 89V index XL or without XL. Been using Dunlop Sportmaxx RT2 91H after the first Conti for front axle then Turanza T005 93V, replace the dunlop to rear axle, not dissapointed. Now i need to change the back tyre for a Hankook Ventus Prime 3 93V. Review said it's great.

Re: A/C & heater controls
Last time when i change myself the battery, i don't need any programming tools. After the new battery is installed, i can start the car right up without the need to set anything up. I just lost the logs of CO2 saving, average fuel and lowest fuel consommation but not an important things. If the prog...

There's calibration menu for tpms, this is kind of a reset too.
Tpms life is around 5 to 6 years, so if it going intermittently on and off, i think it's time to change

Re: Things to look out for
Dashboard says around 4.5l per 100km. In British mpg according to converter is around 62 mpg but can be less in the winter and if you do lots of city.

Re: Things to look out for
Bought it 3 years a go at around the same km/mile as yours. Changed oil and all filters every 30k km. Changed the front Conti tyres at 35k. If you see the brake oil is at near minimum level, change the brake pads, surely the front one. Changed mine at around 55k km. Changed all the glow plugs at aro...

I have the LHD version, i need to remove wipers and plastics covers of the windshield apparently...i'm still looking on how to remove those. I have seen on youtube that Qashqai using nearly the same filter and it explains that it doesn't need to pump or fill the filter with diesel, you just need to ...
