Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****
Latest from Nissan. This is a new programme but looking at the e-mail it's still not straightforward. This from the e-mail "Going forward, once the program has launched, all Nissan Dealerships will provide the latest SD card available free of charge upon the annual service (for eligible vehicle...

Re: Reverse Camera problem?
I still turn to look when reversing. I only use the camera when reversing into a parking space to ensure I don't make contact with the vehicle behind. I've tried using the digital display for speed but find it distracting. With the physical speedo I barely need to look as the needle is there in peri...

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****
I imagine it's anyone who owns a pulsar which was first registered within the allowed time period Agreed, but there was nothing in the message I received to indicate what the allowed time period is. To be fair, there's no reason they should say anything about that, other than to indicate that I qua...

Nothing on the e-mail about registering. They say they are keeping a record of all eligible customers, but haven't said what the elegibility criteria are.

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****
Thanks getz, but I object to paying anything to update software which is out of date within weeks of purchasing a brand new vehicle. Nissan have acknowledged receipt of my email so I'll see what the reply is.

Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****
I purchased my Pulsar, brand new in November last year. A few weeks ago I had a display appear on the Sat Nav to the effect that a map update was available, to contact my dealership. I called them today to be informed that it's chargeable. Not too amused, I asked how much it is, assuming a few quid ...

Re: Miles to empty display
Yeah, the miles to empty really has little true value, and seems to be far more inaccurate on the Pulsar than on any previous car. Keeping an eye on the gauge is the better route.

Re: Miles to empty display
I understand the reasons for the inaccuracy. I've just never seen it happening in front of my eyes before. What it does suggest is extremely good fuel economy when on a decent run. My 2 litre Primera used to give well over 40 mpg on motorway runs and it looks as if this may exceed that. It's 1.2 pet...

Re: Reverse Camera problem?
The Pulsar was only launched in 2014 so surely it's still under warranty. Get it sorted by Nissan.
