Re: Nissan alleged ‘defeat devices’ in petrol cars 1.2

I very much doubt this will filter down to the owners. It never did with VW, so why should Nissan be any different. These tend to be headed by law firms for their own gain most of the time! Interesting none the less though. Pulsar's do share the base 1.2 engine as the Qashqai, and the Juke, as well ...

Re: a/c button don't activate anything

It could be that your gas has escaped rather than an electrical issue. That's usually the first thing to check before delving into electrics!

Re: Engine and transmission swap

Hi Unfortunately, you have come to the wrong forum! This forum discusses the C13 Pulsar and shares nothing in common with the N platform. You might be better seeking out the 'Almera' owners club - this was the other name given to the N chassis Pulsar cars in other countries. The other car the QG18DE...

Re: Rear plate locking screws for Pulsar 2017

Do the threads or head looked damaged in anyway? Probably a design issue and they are vibrating loose or something.

As previous poster, try some Loctite or other thread locking compound which should help prevent it backing off through vibration.

Re: Workshop Manual

Not come across one yet. Although it took me 6 years to locate the workshop manual for the K13 Micra with notes on the DIG-S engine (the ones I kept finding only related to 1.2 N/A engine) so...! Given that the Pulsar exists, there should be an official Nissan manual knocking around somewhere... its...

If you get smearing/jumping over the sensor, then it inst going to read correctly and behave erratically!

Re: Wipers

I have found that aged wipers to exacerbate the issue...

I recently replaced mine and the wiper detection and speed seemed to have massively improved. Not 100% perfect but not as hit and miss as before.

Re: Warning Key ID Incorrect

I was more angling that if you are letting the dealer swap the batteries (which is how I read it), you have no idea how long they have been sat on the shelf, or quality.... that way if you DIY it, then you know.

I guess the fault can happen anywhere, rather than set locations

Re: Gear shift

No fuse for this option!! It will be programmed into the cars display system and it will be unlikely to be an option where you can turn it off. There is a slim chance if you can get your hands on the appropriate version of Nissan's Consult software and appropriate cable, however I would not hold my ...
