Re: Wierd clock time.

Thanks SplanK. My car is parked in the same place every night and it's never happened before. Satellite issues does seem to be the most likely explanation. My mother-in-law always said things started going wrong after they made holes in the sky with them rocket things.

Wierd clock time.

I went out at 15:30 this afternoon to pick up the missus from work. Car clock was showing 14:30 so checked my watch and phone times to make sure I wasn't losing the plot. No - definitely 15:30. I'd only driven a couple of hundred yards when the clock suddenly corrected to 15:30. Never happened befor...

Re: Disable speed limiter alarm?

Not something I've ever felt the need to set to be honest. If it's anything like the other 'features' any changes to settings will be lost when you switch the engine off.

Re: Strut Top Bearing gone after 27k Miles

It certainly should be covered by warranty. I wouldn't expect and major component to fail after such comparatively low mileage. The risk is that the dealership will say that there is wear, but it's not bad enough to require changing and you will just have to live with the noise.

Re: Newly registered

My fuel economy has always been better than the low figures you quote. However, after the last service in November last year I noticed a marked improvement in fuel economy. I get close to 40 mpg on short runs into town (about 3 miles), and high 40's otherwise. Best genuine figure I've had was mid 50...

Re: issan Pulsar Leather Drivers Seat Splitting

Mine hasn't split but I have noticed a couple of areas where the surface finish has come away with consequent rough patches in the leather. Only spotted a couple of weeks ago and still under warranty. I will be speaking to my dealership about it as there are other problems with the seat too.

Re: Letter from Nissan dealership

I've actually had the same letter again, about 2 weeks ago. I'm still hanging on to it. If I get a 3rd I might investigate how much / little they would give for it.

Re: sat nav fault

Haven't run into this one myself yet, unlucky that this has affected your car. Still it's pretty good going that you've went 3 years without any other problems. That's a terrible indictment of the Pulsar isn't it? Going 3 years in a new car without any problems should be the norm, not something to ...
