Re: Introduction

I can't use the key to start mine as there is no ignition switch. At least not one I am aware of.

Re: Chip tuning on a dyno

I suspect by 'fragile' he means it could blow up, or at least fail, if you try to uprate it.

2014 card isn't going to have more up to date information than the one provided in a 2017 model.

Re: Connecting iPhone for playback of music

I've tried it and it works. The only problem I have is that the volume is very low so I have to wind the volume up to around the 20 mark. It's at 6 when actually listening to radio. Forget to turn it back down when leaving the car and it nearly destroys my eardrums when I put the radio back on.

Re: Connecting iPhone for playback of music

Thanks stiyo. I was wondering how to get music from my phone too. I'll give that a try.

Re: 1.2 petrol engine

Benhoyle89. You say the repairs were put on warranty. Had you taken out extended warranty or did the dealership / Nissan accept that the engine was not of acceptable quality?

If you get smearing/jumping over the sensor, then it inst going to read correctly and behave erratically!
I accept that but, when most people have complained about the system being crap from day one, a duff wiper blade would seem to be an unlikely cause.

Re: Wipers

I have found that aged wipers to exacerbate the issue... I recently replaced mine and the wiper detection and speed seemed to have massively improved. Not 100% perfect but not as hit and miss as before. Mine has been useless from Day1. I don't understand why replacing wiper blades would have any ef...

Re: Wipers

Auto wipers are useless. As said, they have a mind of their own. I've had situations where it's absolutely pissing down and the wipers don't move, but in a very light drizzle they do demented. I'd love to be able to revert to a manually set intermittent wipe. I find auto lights much better although,...
